Walmart Bronze Brand Page

Background: Hello Cake is a sexual wellness brand that approached us to create a "Bronze Brand Page" for them. The challenge was to build a page using suggestive copy and emoji's in which Amazon, Google, TikTok, and Facebook universally approved to use on their sites - but we could not. We had to navigate the fine line of adhering to Walmart's ad policy while satisfying the client's desires.

Team: Our team, consisting of an Art Director, Designer, Copywriter, Producer, Developer, and Account Manager, faced the task head-on.

Challenges: One of the biggest challenges we encountered was the restriction imposed by Walmart's Ad Policy. We were not allowed to include copy or emoji's that portrayed the pleasurable aspect of the product. Instead, we had to focus on the product's category, which is sexual wellness. Despite this limitation, we managed to find a middle ground with the client and create copy and imagery that were slightly toned down but still conveyed the essence of the brand.

Wins: The project was a success mainly because of our ability to compromise and find alternative solutions. It was crucial for me to serve as a liaison between our creative team and the account manager, ensuring that both sides were happy and that the project progressed smoothly within the given timeline. This role allowed me to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, ultimately resulting in a satisfied client and a timely completion of the project.
