Background: Every fall, Walmart hosts the highly anticipated September Beauty Days program, a month-long event featuring exclusive deals and promotions on beauty products. Like clockwork, numerous projects pour in from various beauty brands, placing immense pressure on our team to deliver exceptional results within tight timelines.
Team: To tackle the challenges posed by this demanding program, our dedicated team was composed of our skilled Third Party Vendor design team, myself, and a proactive Account Manager. Working collaboratively, we united our expertise and shared commitment to meet timelines and expectations.
Challenges: Upon initiation, Walmart provided us with a design guideline and template to follow. However, upon review, the client expressed dissatisfaction with the template's look and feel, prompting them to insist on using their own distinct aesthetic. Despite this unexpected setback, we recognized the importance of maintaining a positive relationship with J&J and hence made the decision to accommodate their request. Additionally, the time constraints placed tremendous strain on us, as we had to complete multiple sets of designs while adhering to the strict deadline.
Wins: Through open and continuous communication, our third-party vendor design team, account manager, and myself worked closely together to navigate the complexities of the project. We poured our efforts into creating assets that not only met J&Jās requirements but also exceeded their expectations. By ensuring a smooth flow of information and aligning our creative vision, we successfully delivered assets that left the client delighted and satisfied with our work.
