R+F “Plus One” Launch Event
Filmed in studio
Background: This video was filmed in studio in San Francisco, California. Capturing the launch of a new product, the crew created a video teaser. The day started with a crew call time at 9am and a wrap-up time of 3pm. Being in a studio environment provided the ideal setting for creativity to flow freely.
Cast & Crew: 8 people. From their roles in front of the camera to the technical aspects of production, each person brought their unique expertise to the table. Collaboration played a fundamental role in ensuring the success of this project, with everyone working together to achieve a shared goal.
Challenges: Like most endeavors, this production faced its fair share of challenges. Due to the nature of the project, the crew consisted of three people. Despite their small numbers, their determination and resourcefulness prevailed. Taking advantage of the studio's dynamic spaces, they strategically utilized two different locations within the building. This decision allowed them to explore diverse perspectives and capture every aspect with precision.
However, the logistical aspect of filming in two separate locations required additional support. Recognizing the challenge, our creative team stepped in to assist in the seamless transfer and setup of equipment and props. By working closely together, we ensured that valuable time was not wasted and that the production continued to progress smoothly.
Wins: Filming was wrapped up on time. Post-production video editing, although an intricate and time-consuming task, was carried out efficiently and completed on schedule. The editor skillfully pieced together the shots, refining the visual narrative and bringing it to life. Combining their technical expertise with artistic precision, they ensured that every frame conveyed the intended message and evoked the desired emotional response. This seamless transition from filming to post-production exemplified the team's professionalism and dedication, ultimately resulting in a polished and compelling final product.
My Role: Within this dynamic environment, my role in the project was multi-faceted, allowing me to contribute in various ways. From the initial planning stages, I took charge of booking hair and makeup services, ensuring that every detail was carefully considered. Additionally, I distributed call sheets and scripts, essential documents that helped keep everyone informed and on track. Scheduling lunch breaks, a small but important task, ensured that the team remained nourished and energized throughout the day. Lastly, performing prompter duties added an extra layer of support, ensuring that the talent could deliver their lines with confidence.
